Movement Automatic
An automatic/self-winding movement is powered by a thin spiral torsion spring, called the mainspring, which is housed in an enclosed barrel inside the movement. The energy produced from the wound spring drives the movement functions. An automatic watch has a weighted rotor mounted on a pivot to the back of the movement, and the rotor is connect to the mainspring through a series of gears. The natural motion of the wearers wrist will cause the rotor to spin, which in turn will automatically wind the mainspring.

Please note: An automatic winding watch which has completely wound-down or is at the end of its power reserve requires manual winding. Manually winding an automatic watch ensures that the watch is at full power-reserve when first worn, and as long as the watch is in motion thereafter it will remain fully wound, ensuring that when the watch is removed it will run the specificed power-reserve duration.   • RING COMMAND BEZEL - Watch setting & Corrections:
    • The bezel is key to setting the 3 functions of the watch (time, dual-time & annual calendar).
    • The "RING COMMAND BEZEL" features 3 positions with each position corresponding to a different function of the watch. 
    • Simply rotating  the bezel to the position of the corresponding watch function will allow the correction of that particular function via the crown.
    GMT/Dual Time-Zone:
    • Off-center 24 hour ring.
    • Inverted red triangle indicating the additional time-zone.
    • Indicated in 24 hour mode to easily distinguish between AM & PM at the additional time-zone location.
    • The dual time-zone is adjustable in one hour increments adjusted without stopping or interrupting the operation of the movement.
  • SAROS Annual Calendar:
    • Date window displayed at the 3 o'clock position with a cyclops magnifier.
    • Month display via small apertures at each hour marker (12 hours = 12 month). A red filled display window indicates the current month.
    • A manual correction is required only once a year on March 1st to compensate for the shorter 28 or 29 days of February.
    • The date can be adjusted both forward & backward.
  • Movement:
    • Rolex in-house calibre 9002, beats at 28,800 vph,  contains 40 Jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 72 hour.
